Christmas is coming, and two friends are meeting at 7:30 in the evening at their town’s Artists’ Circle, where for several years now they’ve been playing the archangel Saint Michael and Satan in the classic Christmas play Els Pastorets. The actor who usually plays Satan won’t be able to this year: he just lost an appeal, and will have to serve a prison sentence. He asks his friend to step in and take his place. But being a baddie doesn’t come easily to this friend. The veteran will teach him how to get in touch with his evil side and play a mean Satan.
