On August 5th, the Feast of the Virgin of Vinyet is held, when the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Vinyet becomes a gathering place to venerate Sitges’ most beloved virgin.

Throughout the day, there will be a full schedule of religious, recreational, and cultural activities, such as a craft fair around the Sanctuary and the sale of traditional pastries and refreshments.

A festive gathering for everyone named Vinyet. All those who share the name are warmly invited to attend. Featuring a performance by Suburband.

Wednesday, August 5

Day of Our Lady of Vinyet

Morning Mass
Presided over by Father Josep Maria Enríquez Farreras, monk from Montserrat Abbey.
At the end of the Mass, there will be the veneration of the Holy Image and the singing of the traditional hymns (Goigs).
Time: 8 am

Solemn Concelebrated Mass
With the participation of the Friends of the Organ Choir. An offering will be made by the representatives of the Sitges Pubillatge.
Time: 11 am

Veneration of the Holy Image and Singing of the Goigs
Followed by the Rosary.
Time: 6 pm

Traditional Fireworks Display
On the beach by the Benaprés Statue. Event involving pyrotechnics.
Time: 10 pm

Activities Throughout the Day

• Craft fair at Vinyet Park.
• Traditional coques and refreshments available all day at the Pine Grove (Pineda). In collaboration with Grup Matas Arnalot.
• Sardana dance performance at 7:00 pm, featuring the Cobla Sitgetana.
