The Garraf Buddhist Monastery, Sakya Tashi Ling, provides diverse cultural activities. Among them, one of the most outstanding is the Palau Novella Museum where you can see, through guided tours led by monks from the community, the heritage of a family of Indianos (Spaniards who returned to Spain after making their fortune in Latin America) on the one hand and on the other, an exhibition of Tibetan art and culture that brings us closer to a thousand-year-old culture.
They offer different workshops including yoga, relaxation and meditation, etc., that transport us to a place where we can get in touch with our inner self. You can also enjoy the Monastery’s surroundings; situated right in the middle of the Garraf Nature Reserve, it affords us an atmosphere of peace and quiet. In its gardens you’ll find a stupa, a monument that’s a source of positive energy and peace plus a Romantic pond. There is no set limit of people to be able to sign up for these activities, and groups of up to approximately 30 people can be put together simultaneously. The guided tours use an audio guide system in several different languages (Catalan, Spanish, English, Italian and German). The workshops can be done in Catalan, Spanish and English.
