Sitges has a unique coastal orography and a characteristic, breakwater-defined beach system: 17 beaches covering an 18 kilometer coastline, added to the fact that the beaches are spread out over different parts of the township, are aspects to be kept in mind when designing a rescue and lifesaving plan.
Our beaches with rescue and lifesaving services are: Botigues, Garraf, Aiguadolç, Balmins, Sant Sebastià, Fragata, Ribera, Bassa Rodona, Estanyol, Riera Xica, Barra, Terramar and Anquines
